Sunday…..The Seahawks traded down to the final pick in the NFL Draft first round, selecting Texas A&M OL Germain Ifedi. The Draft continues today…..Felix Hernandez takes the mound tonight as the Mariners host the Royals, KLOG 6:00 pm…..The LCC teams are at home tomorrow. Softball hosts Clackamas at 12 pm and baseball at home against Centralia at 1 pm…..In prep baseball, Hockinson edged Mark Morris 7-6. Today, Kelso is at Centralia and RAL hosts Woodland…..River edged Kelso 5-4 in softball. Today, MM is at Heritage…..In soccer, Fort tied Kelso 1-1, Ridgefield edged MM 1-0 and RAL beat Bay 4-2.

The Trail Blazers beat the Clippers 108-98 last night to take a 3-2 lead in the NBA first round playoff series. Portland can wrap it up at home tomorrow night…..Houston avoided a sweep by downing the Mariners 7-4 last night. Seattle has a day off today before hosting the Royals tomorrow night…..In prep baseball, Kelso defeated Prairie 9-3 and Mark Morris downed Hudson’s Bay 3-1…..R.A. Long defeated Mark Morris 10-5 in Civil War softball action yesterday. Hileigh Todd had three hits including a homer. Skyview defeated Kelso 11-2. Today, Kelso is at River, Woodland at RAL and Ridgefield at MM…..Kelso blanked RAL 6-0 in tennis. Today, RAL at Washougal and MM at Ridgefield…..In boys soccer today, Kelso at Fort (7pm), Ridgefield at MM (5pm) and Bay at RAL (6pm).

The Blazers will play a Clippers team without injured stars Blake Griffin and Chris Paul when the teams meet in game five of the playoffs tonight, 6:05 pm on FM 101.5 The Wave…..Robinson Cano hit a grand slam and drove in six runs as the Mariners pounded Houston 11-1 last night. The M’s got for the sweep tonight, KLOG 6:00 pm…..The LCC baseball team swept Green River 12-3 and 7-2 yesterday. The Devils are 11-2 and in first place…..The LCC softball also won two yesterday, taking 12-2 and 14-4 victories at Chemeketa. Ashley Kelly set the school record for doubles (19) and extended her record hitting streak to 30 games…..Kelso blasted Prairie 11-0 in prep baseball, while R.A. Long completed an 10-1 win over Washougal……The Kelso and RAL track teams swept to wins yesterday.

The Blazers have tied the Clippers at two games each after a 98-84 NBA Playoff win last night. Al-Farouq Aminu had a career high 30 points. Chris Paul may be lost for L.A. with a broken hand. Game five is tomorrow at L.A…..Taijuan Walker struck out 11 to lead the Mariners to a 3-2 win over the Astros. Kyle Seager and Leonys Martin hit homers. The teams play again tonight, KLOG 6:00 pm…..R.A. Long defeated Mark Morris 5-2 in Civil War baseball at Story Field last night. Today, the Jacks are at Washougal and Prairie visits Kelso…..LCC will be the visiting team at their own park today. Green River and the Devils play a 2 pm DH at Story Field…..In prep softball, RAL beat Washougal 16-5 and MM blasted Bay 23-1. Today, RAL is at Hockinson and Kelso hosts Prairie.

The Blazers are looking to tie up their NBA Playoff series with the Clippers by winning tonight’s game four, FM 101.5 The Wave at 6:35 pm. Portland won game three Saturday night…..The Mariners beat the Angels 9-4 yesterday to cap off a successful road trip. The M’s host the Houston Astros tonight, KLOG 6:00 pm…..After taking two games from Green River Saturday, the LCC Red Devils games at Green River were rained out yesterday. The teams will play at Story Field tomorrow at 2 pm. The Devils will be the visiting team at their own field…..Story Field will be the site for tonight’s Civil War baseball game between Mark Morris and R.A. Long. First pitch is 6 pm tonight…..In prep softball today, Hudson’s Bay is at Mark Morris and R.A. Long at Washougal, both at 4 pm.

The M’s take on the Angels in Anaheim tonight, KLOG 6:00 pm…..The Blazers hope the home court will get them going tomorrow as the they host the Clippers at Moda Center. LA leads the series 2-0…..Kelso beat River 9-5 in prep baseball yesterday. The Scots are at Tumwater today. Also, Bay visits R.A. Long today…..The LCC baseball team hosts Green River tomorrow in a 1 pm DH…..The LCC softball team hosts Mt. Hood in a key 12 pm DH tomorrow in Kelso, KLOG 11:55 pm…..Prep softball today, Kelso at Fort, Ridgefield at MM and RAL at Hockinson…..In boys soccer, Centralia and Kelso tied 4-4, Ridgefield over RAL 5-4 (OT) and MM shutout Hudson’s Bay 2-0.

The series resumes at Moda Center Saturday night…..Taijuan Walker got the win and Nori Aoki’s two-run triple gave the Mariners a 2-1 victory over Cleveland. The M’s and Indians are playing a day game today, KLOG 8:00 am…..In prep baseball, Kelso defeated Rainier 12-3, R.A. Long was leading Washougal 9-0 when the game was suspended, and Mark Morris’ furious rally from down 8-5 to leading 9-8 was dashed when the game was called due to darkness and the score reverted to the previous inning…..In prep softball, Tumwater downed Kelso 4-2, RAL blasted Hudson’s Bay 17-1 and MM beat Washougal 5-2.

The M’s and Indians play again today, KLOG 2:00 pm…..The Blazers and Clippers meet in Los Angeles tonight for game two of the NBA Playoff series, 6:35 pm on FM 101.5 The Wave. The Clippers lead 1-0…..Mariah Mendez hit a 10th inning walk-off homer to give LCC a 5-3 softball win over Clark…..In prep softball, Kelso defeated Mt. View 6-1 and Skyview downed Mark Morris 13-3. Today, the Lassies host Tumwater, Hudson’s Bay is at R.A. Long and MM is at Woodland…..Kelso blanked Fort 9-0 in prep baseball. Today, the Scots host Rainier, RAL is at Washougal and MM at Ridgefield…..The Kelso boys track team beat Fort 122-32 to clinch the GSHL 3A title. Also, the Kelso Lassies defeated Fort in track 103-47.

Today Hockinson is at MM (5pm) and Kelso hosts Columbia River (7pm)…..In track action today, Kelso is at Fort and RAL visits Hockinson…..MM beat Hockinson 4-2 in girls tennis yesterday. MM hosts Washougal today and RAL is at Hockinson…..MM beat Centralia 223-242 in girls golf yesterday.
