The Blazers game at Brooklyn was postponed to due to snow concerns. The game will be made up April 6th…..The Huskies released center Robert Upshaw for violation of team rules. He’s the nations top shot blocker…..Ashley Coons scored 19 points to lead Mark Morris over Hockinson 66-33. Washougal beat R.A. Long 52-45 despite 23 points from Sarah Luedke. Tonight the Kelso Lassies host Centralia at 7 pm…..In boys play, the Kelso team is at Centralia (KLOG 7:25 pm), Mark Morris is at Hockinson (101.5 FM The Wave 7:15 pm) and R.A. Long travels to Washougal…..Today is Media Day at the Super Bowl where both the Seahawks and Patriots meet reporters separately…..The Mariners have invited outfielders Endy Chavez and Franklin Gutierrez to spring training.

Tonight’s Trail Blazers game has been postponed due to the impending blizzard in the New York area. Portland was supposed to play the Nets in Brooklyn, but will instead fly out today for Wednesday’s game at Milwaukee…..Utah defeated Washington 77-56 in men’s college hoops last night…..The LCC teams swept Centralia Saturday night. The Red Devils travel to Grays Harbor for games Wednesday night in Aberdeen…..In girls hoops tonight, top-ranked Mark Morris hosts Hockinson, 6:45 pm on 101.5 FM The Wave. Also, R.A. Long hosts Washougal and Castle Rock is at Kalama…..Thousands of cheering Seahawks fans turned out to see the Seahawks off to the Super Bowl. New England will leave today and arrive in Phoenix tonight.

The Blazers host the Wizards Saturday night…..Andrew Andrews hit a the game winning jumper as the Huskies downed Colorado 52-50 last night…..The LCC teams host Centralia tomorrow night at MM, women at 5 pm and the men at 7 pm…..The Mark Morris girls defeated Woodland 51-40 to get closer to another league title. Tonight, the Kelso Lassies travel to Black Hills for a 7:30 pm game…..In boys hoops tonight, Kelso hosts Black Hills tonight, KLOG 7:25 pm. Mark Morris plays at Woodland, 101.5 FM The Wave at 6:45 pm…..MM, RAL and Kelso are all hosting home bowling matchups this afternoon at the Triangle Bowl, 3:30 pm.

Portland hosts Boston tonight, KLOG 6:05 pm…..#12 Utah defeated WSU 86-64 in men’s college ball. In local action, the LCC men defeated Tacoma 82-78. The LCC women beat Tacoma 82-45 to raise their league mark to 6-0…..The Kelso boys came up with a big road win last night, snapping Columbia River’s 24-game league win streak 58-53…..In girls hoops tonight, #1 Mark Morris hosts Woodland, 6:45 pm on 101.5 FM The Wave…..The R.A. Long wrestling team collected a pair of victories last night, 54-15 over Ridgefield and 55-19 over Woodland. Woodland edged Mark Morris 33-32.

The Mark Morris boys shot 71 percent in a 90-51 pasting of Hudson’s Bay. Also, R.A. Long took care of Hockinson 52-43. Tonight, Kelso travels to Columbia River…..River defeated the Kelso Lassies 48-29 last night. Also in girls play, MM beat down Bay 75-21 and it was Hockinson over RAL 52-41…..The LCC basketball teams host Tacoma tonight, women at 6 pm and the men at 8 pm, both at MM…..The Trail Blazers will be without LaMarcus Aldridge tonight when they play at Phoenix, KLOG 5:05 pm. Aldridge has an injured thumb…..The Kelso wrestling team is 8-1 in dual matches as they defeated Fort Vancouver 72-12 last night. Tonight, the RAL wrestlers host MM, Woodland and Hockinson.

The Blazers rallied from 13 points down to beat Sacramento 98-94 last night. Damian Lillard led the way with 22 points…..The Mark Morris girls were impressive in a 78-47 win over White River at the MLK Showcase in Kent. Karley Eaton had 25 points and Kourtney Eaton had 23 points and 16 rebounds. MM is at Bay tonight. Also, R.A. Long at Hockinson and Kelso is at Columbia River, KLOG 6:55 pm…..The Mark Morris boys were also very good at the MLK Showcase, slapping Tahoma 67-38. Spencer Sweet had 18 to lead the way. Tonight, MM hosts Bay, 101.5 FM at 6:45 pm. Also tonight in boys play, R.A. Long hosts Hockinson…..The Kelso wrestling team travels to Fort Vancouver tonight at 7 pm.

The Seattle Seahawks are going back to the Super Bowl after an incredible 28-22 OT victory over Green Bay yesterday. Down 16-0 and half and 19-7 with five minutes left, the Hawks saw a series of events take place to set up the game winning 35-yard TD pass from Russell Wilson to Jermaine Kearse in OT. The Hawks take on the Patriots in the Super Bowl Sunday February 1st…..The Blazers host the Sacramento Kings tonight, KLOG 6:05 pm…..The Huskies rallied to beat the Oregon Ducks 85-77 in men’s hoops last night…..Both Mark Morris teams will play today at the MLK games at the Showare Center in Kent. The MM girls play White River at 2 pm, followed the Monarchs boys against Tahoma at 3:30 pm. Both games can be heard on 101.5 FM The Wave.

The Mark Morris boys turned a close game into a 16 point victory by outscoring R.A. Long 29-11 in the 4th quarter. The Monarchs beat the Jacks 64-48 for their 24th straight Civil War win. Tonight the Kelso Hilanders host Prairie at 7 pm…..The girls Civil War is tonight as RAL hosts MM, 6:45 pm on 101.5 FM The Wave. Last night Kady Bruce scored 27 but her Kelso Lassies fell short 54-49 against Prairie…..The Blazers are at San Antonio tonight, KLOG 4:35 pm…..The Huskies beat the OSU Beavers 56-43, WSU beat Oregon 108-99 in OT and Gonzaga survived a 78-76 win at Pepperdine…..The LCC hoop teams are at Pierce tomorrow, women at 5 pm and men at 7 pm…..It will be a full day of wrestling action all day Saturday as the Hilanders host the Kelso Invitational.

The big game last night saw Toutle Lake down Wahkiakum 49-45…..The RAL wrestling team defeated Hudson’s Bay 57-21 last night…..Marcus Mariota confirmed he will be available for the NFL Draft…..WSU has hired Missouri DB’s coach Alex Grinch as the Cougars defensive coordinator…..Longview’s Rick Sweet is named the manager of the Brewers AAA team in Colorado Springs.
